I don’t know if there’s a law against staring, but I know that almost all girls do wish that there was one.
Almost every girl at some point feels uncomfortable feeling shorts and certain dresses that she wants to. And I used to think that it’s our society that objectifies a girl by the length of her clothing, but as I have recently found, this is a problem across the world. A stare here, a stare there is everyday business, sadly. If I wore shorts and went out beyond my house’s gate, I would have to be prepared to tolerate the eyes staring shamelessly (which, by the way, is considered absolutely normal). And the worst part is, what is shameless isn’t called so. Instead, we are.
PETTY FREEDOM
If freedom could be granted on paper All girls would be free And all girls could be their own selves. If freedom could be resting in my words I’d scream my heart out. IKR, even then it’s quite certain it would persist… laws in India are just, what do I even say!

Staring at a woman can be deemed offensive under Section 354 D of the IPC.
So yes there is a law also known as ’14 second stare’ but that also doesn’t mean that
a man can stare for 13 seconds…

Oh wow that’s really interesting! And kind of weird… because of the 14 seconds thing. Although, thanks a lot for telling, it’s good to know that there is something, if only on paper…😊
